Elon Musk’s Epstein Bombshell Against Trump: All Smoke
On June 5, 2025, Elon Musk escalated his public feud with President Donald Trump to a dangerous low, leveling baseless accusations that Trump’s name appears in unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files, implying a cover-up to keep them sealed. This reckless claim, posted on Musk’s own platform X, marks a troubling departure from policy critique into unsubstantiated character assassination, casting a shadow over Musk’s credibility as a public figure.

The saga kicked off when Musk, never one to shy away from controversy, blasted Trump’s spending bill as a “disgusting abomination” on his platform X, accusing lawmakers of pushing a pork-filled plan that would balloon the deficit. Trump fired back, suggesting Musk was merely upset over the loss of electric vehicle subsidies.

Flight Logs: Trump is documented as having taken seven trips on Epstein’s private jet, known as the “Lolita Express,” between 1993 and 1997. These logs, part of court-released documents, list passengers who traveled with Epstein. The trips primarily involved flights between Palm Beach, Florida, and New York, with no recorded flights to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, for Trump.
Trump’s name is included in Epstein’s “black book,” a contact list containing names, phone numbers, and addresses of people Epstein knew or interacted with. The book, partially released in court documents, lists Trump’s contact details, including entries for his Mar-a-Lago estate and other properties. Ivana Trump and Ivanka Trump are also named in this contact book.
Others named in the “Black Book”?

Bill Clinton: Listed in the contact book, with multiple entries for aides and associates.
Prince Andrew: Included in the contact book, consistent with his known association with Epstein.
Mick Jagger: Named in the contact list released in February 2025.
Alec Baldwin: Included in the contact list.
Naomi Campbell: Named in the contact list.
Ethel Kennedy: Listed, mother of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Andrew Cuomo: Former New York Governor, named in the contact list.
Dustin Hoffman: Actor, named in the contact list.
Ted Kennedy: Late Senator, included in the contact list.
David Copperfield: Magician, listed in the contact book.

A 2019 statement by Bradley Edwards, an attorney for Epstein’s victims, stated Trump voluntarily provided information to prosecutors when asked, unlike some other high-profile individuals who were less cooperative. Edwards noted Trump was helpful during a 2009 investigation, answering questions without obstruction. Additionally, some sources claim Trump provided information to the FBI and Dade County police. According to Edwards, Trump was “the only person who picked up the phone and said, ‘Let’s just talk. I’ll tell you what you need to know.’”
This latest stunt by Musk demands accountability. If he possesses evidence of Trump’s involvement in Epstein’s crimes, he must present it or face the consequences of defamation.
