Jared Bernstein is President Biden’s Chief Economic Advisor. In the footage below he is trying to explain how and why the government borrows money which would help us understand the national debt.
He’s the perfect guy to ask because of his position as Chief Economic Advisor to the President.
He sounds like both Cheech and Chong after they smoked a massive amount of Kush. He never does get around to explaining how it all works and at one point admits that he doesn’t understand any of it. It really makes you feel comfortable knowing super competent people are in charge!
He “identifies” as a Chief Economic Advisor – and that should be respected.
