Milwaukee Election Official Kimberly Zapata found Guilty of Obtaining Fake Military Absentee Ballots
Former Milwaukee elections official Kimberly Zapata, accused of faking military absentee ballots, was found guilty in court on Wednesday, March 20.
Zapata was found guilty of three counts of ballot fraud, and one count of misconduct in public office. She faces up to five years in prison.
Zapata will be sentenced May 2.
