  1. Rob Arnold says:

Lay side by side with your significant other, say, in a dewy meadow.
There are stars all over the place up in the sky. Stunning.
There are BILLIONS of them, each one infinitely larger than the planet you two are laying on, and they SURROUND the planet.
How small are we humans? Like grains of sand on the beach.

The climate has been changing over and over again through the millennia. Of course we experience climate change, for crying out loud. Global warming my ass, it warms, it cools, it does what it does, and we do not impact any of it, notwithstanding a corrective measure here or there, like renewable energy sources. Of course, let’s make an effort. Meanwhile, the Paris Agreement was a dog and pony show, with empty platitudes, on America’s dime.

We all must be good stewards, recycle, reuse, conserve, just coming from a place of human morality, decency, conscientiousness. But to think that we change earth’s trajectory is asinine, yes, arrogant. The late George Carlin laid it out splendidly.

Environmentalism is largely grift, a money grab, and a political tool to trick the masses with.
Let us all get real, and understand that George Carlin, no conservative republican, was telling us just what we all needed to know, once and for all.

While environmental problems are surely of concern, and must be addressed, sure, to subscribe to lunacy like the New Green Deal is the real existential threat. Trillions of dollars will not change a thing, while lining the pockets of nasty people, and raking us all over the coals.
Problems are one thing, solutions another, and the solution is to keep a sharp eye out for cheap shills for the deep state on all matters, including their hoax, here.
