Desperate Ukraine now sending Pregnant women into the Fight?
As the war in Ukraine escalates, the nation finds itself in an increasingly dire situation. Faced with heavy losses and the need to quickly bolster its military ranks, Ukraine has resorted to extreme measures—reportedly conscripting pregnant women, as well as individuals up to 60 years old, into combat.
Conscription, once a rare measure in many countries, has become a reality for Ukraine. In a bid to keep up with the overwhelming demands of the conflict, the Ukrainian government has turned to vulnerable groups, including women, the elderly, and those with limited military experience. Pregnant women, already carrying the weight of future generations, are now placed in harm’s way, risking not only their own lives but the health of their unborn children. Meanwhile, soldiers as old as 60 are called to take up arms, their bodies often ill-equipped for the rigors of modern warfare.

“Please don’t hit me I’m pregnant – please don’t leave me here”
Conscription officers are on the hunt for those avoiding the register, pushing more men who do not want to serve into hiding.
