The shooter in the Covenant School incident has been identified as Audrey Hale, 28 of Nashville who identified as transgender and had no previous criminal record, according to the Nashville Police chief John Drake.

Hale carefully planned the attack with detailed maps and surveillance. Police said she/him/he appeared to have written a manifesto about the attack and drawn maps of the campus. Six people are known dead – 3 were children.

Hale was confronted by five officers and two of them opened fire, killing the attacker, authorities said.

Kristin Mumford, a police spokeswoman, said that the shooter had been born female but listed male pronouns on a LinkedIn profile, which suggested that the suspect was a transgender man. Apparently, CNN mis-gendered the clown five times which has caused outrage and has triggered many of the unstable in our society.

In response to a reporter’s question about whether the attacker’s gender identity was connected to the shooting, Chief Drake said, “We’re investigating all the leads.”
