January 6th Video shows Ashli Babbitt was Killed Defending the Capital?

Ashli Babbitt, who was fatally shot by a police officer at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, desperately tried to prevent rioters from vandalizing the doors leading to the Speaker’s Lobby at the Capitol that day.

Zachary Jordan Alam, 29, can be seen on video punching the glass panels of the doors leading into the area known as the Speaker’s lobby that connects to the House chamber. As three officers guarded the door, Alam allegedly kicked the glass and smashed the panels with a helmet, breaking the windows. “He was about to go through that window,” witness Taylor Hansen said “It was his idea. He was the one shattering it.” – and Ashli is seen punching him in the face for breaking the window!!

You might ask – Why did she climb through the broken window? Well, in light of this new information, it appears that Ashli was fighting – in a hostile situation – and maybe felt that it was a better way to escape a hostile crowd.

Hansen said he was walking behind Babbitt in a hallway on the second floor of the Capitol at about 2:40 p.m. She turned right down the Speaker’s Lobby hallway. Hansen followed.

“We didn’t know anything about the building we were in. She turned the corner and I just followed her,” Hansen said. “A big group of people followed us after I followed her. People just kind of emerged on the door. By that time, she was stuck in the corner. “She was literally trapped there ”

“About five minutes prior to her getting shot and killed, all of those officers, Officer Yetter and the other officers in the hall, the MPD cops, they were all joking with her and laughing with her,” Hansen said. “They were having conversations and joking and laughing.

Only one person in that crowd fought the guy who broke the window – and that was Ashli Babbitt.

Ashli’s husband, Aaron Babbitt said She was murdered and robbed of the chance to tell her side of the story.”

One rioter David Mish, stated for investigators that Babbitt said something along the lines of, “Just open the door. They’re not gonna stop.” Obviously, these are words spoken by someone who is anxiously looking for a way out!

A different video recorded by Hansen showed Babbitt shouting at the officers for not stopping the rioters.

Another witness stated: “All of the Trump supporters (were) trying to stop these people from breaking windows, trying to stop these people from setting the place on fire. Donald Trump supporters trying to extinguish the false flag, and apparently Ashli Babbitt was one of these individuals, and we got it on tape … As she’s trying to stop them, then they start chasing her. So then she’s got to climb through. She can’t go backwards, so she’s got to go forward.

Ashli Babbitt wasn’t an insurrectionist.
She was a hero who died defending US Government property.

  1. So, they show Ashli hitting someone and then saying she wasn’t violent. Ashli’s rap sheet includes prosecuted for reckless endangerment, malicious destruction of property and tampering with a car, and was the subject of two restraining orders.

  2. Shaking my head here. We have all this video, together with freeze frames and circles and arrows to show us what happened, then oops, we’re not going to show video of Ashli actually getting shot, because it looks bad to show that she was crawling through the broken window and completely discredits the claim that she was trying to stop people from breaking through the doors. Do you really think that people are stupid enough to believe your “Oh, we’re not going to show you that video, we’re just going to tell you what happened” BS? Especially when there are several other videos that show what happened?

  3. Ashli Babbitt was shot by Officer Byrd in the neck as she was standing in the tall window frame that separated the hall from where the protesters were. Police were working on her. There was blood near her neck as she lay on the floor. She had not yet entered the congressional hall She had no weapon. She was no threat to Officer Byrd. I saw and studied the entire video of this incident. There needs to be a trial for Officer Byrd.
