Massachusetts Man Laughs about the Killings in Minneapolis

The man who celebrated the Minneapolis Catholic School shooting & promised more attacks has been identified as Christopher John Hohn. According to authorities Hohn, a resident of either Auburn or Worcester, Massachusetts, is the person who allegedly posted a video online that celebrated the violent attack and reportedly threatened further attacks.

“And you know what? There’s going to be a lot more of that coming up – You know, especially at these religious areas, hey we’ve had enough of your kind coming after public schools”

“It’s about time churches and catholic schools and religious schools it’s about time they get their turn”

“I’m just gonna sit back and watch people do it i’m going to fucking laugh I’m laughing about yesterday you guys want to laugh about us we’re gonna laugh about you”

Here are the legal grounds for his arrest: Advocating for violence can be a crime, specifically a felony, under federal law through incitement to riot or solicitation to commit a crime of violence, if the speech is directed at inciting imminent lawless action.

While advocating violence alone is generally protected speech under the First Amendment, it loses protection if it is intended to and likely to cause immediate unlawful action. The legal standard, known as the Brandenburg test, requires the speech to incite or produce imminent lawless action and be likely to incite such action.
