Alex Pretti had Ties to an Anti-ICE Terror Network

A narrative has emerged portraying Alex Pretti as an innocent bystander, a young man simply walking down the street with phone in hand. Emerging details paint a starkly different picture, one of active involvement in a coordinated effort against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Far from a passive observer, Pretti was allegedly a dedicated member of an underground group that operated like a modern-day militia, using technology and on-the-ground tactics to disrupt / impede federal operations.

According to sources familiar with the group’s activities, members relied on secure messaging apps, such as Signal, to coordinate their efforts. These tools enable them to track ICE agents in real-time: marking vehicles, running license plates through accessible government databases to identify and dox personnel, and relaying locations to mobilize “boots on the ground.” Agitators would then swarm to the scene, interfering with arrests, blocking traffic, surrounding ICE vans, hurling objects, and blowing whistles to alert individuals in the area.

Just a week before his fatal encounter, Pretti had been caught in a violent clash with ICE officers, sustaining a broken rib in the scuffle. Described as being “on shift” via the Signal network on the day of the incident, Pretti appeared to be fulfilling a assigned role within the group.

Pretti’s family has shed light on his personal descent into this world. His parents revealed that he was exhibiting what they called “unusual behavior.” “He seemed to have joined some kind of group,” his father, Michael Pretti, told reporters. “We warned him two weeks ago, protest if you want, but don’t engage, don’t do anything stupid. He said he understood.”

Police investigations have since uncovered messages from Pretti’s phone, corroborating his active role and exposing the extent of the network’s operations.
